Harvey Moore

Harvey A. Moore Jr. of Butler celebrated his 90th birthday with a family dinner.

He was born Feb. 2, 1925, in Springdale. He married the former Betty Jane Sumney on Sept. 8, 1949, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

He has three children, Barbara Gerstner of Butler, Dale Moore of Slippery Rock and David Moore of Butler.

He also has seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Moore worked on the family farm that was established in 1823.
