Kathleen Sommers, left, and Sandi Martonik choose toys Wednesday for gift bags in the Toys for Tots program. Butler's Bantam Marine Detachment 743 will distribute Christmas gifts to the parents of nearly 2,500 needy children Friday at Point Plaza Shopping Center in Butler Township. The distribution is coordinated by Dennis Johnston and Jodi Johnston. The toys come from the Bantam Marines and donations by Butler County residents, businesses, veterans organizations, and the Labor Council.
