Rita Michel

Rita H. Michel of Herman celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church hall in Herman.

The former Rita Lunn was born Nov. 1, 1924, in Horning. She married the late Hubert “Hubie” Michel on Oct. 25, 1947, at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church.

She has six children, Albert A. Michel, John A. Michel, Marlene A. Fisher, Mary R. Konyha, Dave A. Michel and Marge A. Paglia, all of Butler.

She also has 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of a dairy farmer.

Mrs. Michel is a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church.
