John and Beverly Doerr

John R. and Beverly J. Doerr of Sarver celebrated 60 years of marriage on Oct. 15.

Doerr married the former Beverly Fritch on Oct. 15, 1954, at Zion Evangelical Church in Cabot.

They have three children, Jackie (Jim) Leslie of Sarver, Jennifer Doerr of Sarver and Jon (Kitty) Doerr of Freeport.

They also have eight granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.

Doerr retired from Moonlight Mushroom after 40 years. He enjoys watching football and baseball.

Mrs. Doerr retired from Moonlight Mushroom after 31 years. She enjoys crafting and ceramics.

The couple enjoys spending time with their family.

The Doerrs are members of Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver.
