JACKSON TWP — Shirlann Harmon, a Seneca Valley High School freshman, received the Pennsylvania Association of Student Councils (PASC) Dale D. Hawley Award during the annual PASC state conference held this month.

The award recognized her service and leadership at the state level. Hawley’s life was dedicated to youth, service and the development of student leaders.

Since seventh grade, Shirlann has been a delegate in student council and has attended Grove City College Blue summer workshops.
