A Hosanna! Holiday Celebration is planned for noon Dec. 6 at the South Butler Fire Hall, 98 Old Plank Road. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The event includes a meal and holiday musical entertainment by Sing Hosanna! vocalists. Cost is $20 for adults and $7 for children age 10 and younger. The mystery dinner show “Death and Taxes,” performed by Mystery's Most Wanted, will be hosted by the Friends of South Butler Community Library on Dec. 6 at the Saxonburg VFW Hall across from Knoch High School, Jefferson Township. Cash bar and appetizers begin at 5 p.m. with dinner served at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $30 and include a catered medieval feast. Tickets are available at the library, 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Medieval-style attire adds to the fun but is not required. Raffles and door prizes are planned.
