Sutton Tire and Auto Service on South Monroe Street is celebrating its 70th anniversary this month. The business started in 1944 when Ralph Huselton Sr. bought one of George Sutton’s existing vehicle service businesses. It originally was on Kittanning Street, but the business moved to its current location at 204 S. Monroe St. in 1951. Ralph Huselton Jr. became the owner in 1977. His son, Randy Huselton, became his partner in 1987. The business sells tires, performs state vehicle inspections and does vehicle repairs. It has seven employees. The staff members at Sutton are, from left, Zach Bayne, Ken Anderson Jr., Joe Fabiszewski, Graham Huselton, Kathi Huselton, Randy Huselton and Ralph Huselton.
