Ambrose 50th anniversary
Stephen and Betty Ambrose of Cabot celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the J-Barn Country Inn in Sarver.
Ambrose married the former Betty Thompson on Nov. 12, 1964, in Winchester, Va.
They have three children, Wesley (Tracy) Ambrose of Cabot, Linda (Edward) Drewencki of Cabot and Tammy Ambrose of Cabot.
They also have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ambrose retired from Moonlight Mushroom after 33 years. He has owned Ambrose Farm Market for more than 50 years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. He enjoys biking, reading and outdoor walks.
Mrs. Ambrose is a housewife and has helped manage Ambrose Farm Market for more than 50 years.
She enjoys the outdoors, crafting and shopping.
The couple enjoys spending time with their family.
The Ambroses are members of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.
