The United Way of Butler County will hold its 19th annual Week of Caring beginning Monday.

The volunteer event mobilizes hundreds of people to complete hands-on projects to benefit the nonprofit community.

Kierston Hobaugh, United Way director of performance and results, said about 140 volunteers have signed up for 25 projects throughout the county.

Most volunteers are employees of businesses participating in the week.

The week is organized on the United Way’s volunteer website, volunteer.butlerunitedway.com.
