Butler will be monitoring all metered parking on Saturdays, beginning Oct. 18.

Police Chief Rob Brown said meters will be enforced between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays on streets and parking lots.

One meter monitor will work Saturdays, according to Brown. Two meter monitors patrol parking on weekdays.

The city has enforced parking on Saturdays off and on in the past. Brown said the monitoring of meters during the week will continue.
