Kenneth E. Turnbull

Kenneth E. Turnbull, 67, of Cranberry Township died Aug. 9 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Bethesda, Md., on July 5, 1947, he was the son of the late John David and Carol Claire Mosher.

Ken had been a custodian and school bus driver for the Alma Public Schools in Alma, Mich. He also delivered newspapers for various publishers, including The New York Times and USA Today.

He was a member of the Wildwood Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Surviving are his wife, Rachel Pope Turnbull, who he married on April 28, 2005; one son, Kenneth Turnbull and his wife, Lori, of Alma, Mich.; one daughter, Shavone Turnbull of Garden City, Mich.; one stepson, Joshua McCoy of Cranberry Township; one sister, Patricia Matznick in Georgia; one brother, Franklin Lyle Banta and his wife, Debbie, of Willis, Texas; one sister-in-law, Linda Hamilton of Captain Hook, Hawaii; one nephew, Ben Turnbull and his wife, Callie, of Nantucket, Mass.; five grandchildren; and several other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joanne Turnbull; and one brother, Thomas Turnbull.

TURNBULL — Friends of Kenneth E. Turnbull, who died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, are invited to a memorial service at the Wildwood Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2513 Wildwood Road, Allison Park, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23.Memorials may be made to the Wildwood Kingdom Hall.Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
