SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Michael R. Anderson, 42, of Indiana, Pa., waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, following too closely to another vehicle, making an improper turn and careless driving, filed July 22 by state police.

Owen C. Barkley, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, filed Aug. 4 by state police.

Eliza Jo Double, 19, of Springdale, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, filed July 17 by state police.

Amanda J. Everett, 24, of Valencia waived to court charges of DUI, filed June 9 by Middlesex Township police.

Abigail E. Hartman, 20, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, disregarding traffic lanes, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed July 17 by state police.

George P. Hazlett Jr., 24, of Cabot waived to court two counts of simple assault, filed June 12 by state police. In an unrelated case filed Oct. 25 by state police, Hazlett waived charges of possessing a controlled substance and a small amount of marijuana.

Tyler Henricks, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed Aug. 4 by state police.

Thomas R. Hunter, 19, of Freeport waived to court charges of DUI, reckless driving and driving at an unsafe speed, filed June 30 by Buffalo Township police.

Elizabeth Ann Plack, 33, of Freeport waived to court charges of DUI, driving on the wrong side of the road, reckless driving and disorderly conduct, filed July 8 by Buffalo Township police.

Marie E. Stawinski, 23, of Cabot waived to court charges of DUI, failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and driving with an open container of alcohol, filed July 10 by state police.

Travis J. Thompson, 30, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, speeding and driving with an open container of alcohol, filed Aug. 27 by Penn Township police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Richard W. Conner, 37, of Butler waived to court charges of unlawfully attempting to purchase a firearm and unsworn falsification to authorities, filed Aug. 18.Timothy Lee Holt, 33, of Eau Claire waived to court charges of access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property, filed June 26.Steven V. Makepeace, 24, of Butler waived to court charges of unlawfully attempting to purchase a firearm and unsworn falsification to authorities, filed June 24.James E. Speicher Jr., 34, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of false reports to police, filed Oct. 17. Speicher was ordered to pay $587 in fines and court costs.Steven C. Stepp, 54, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed July 28. Stepp was ordered to pay $194.50 in fines and court costs.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases filed by state police:Matthew L. Bell, 21, of Harrisville waived to court charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, filed May 25.Lonnie J. Bowers, 43, of Erie waived to court charges of forgery, access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property, filed Dec. 10.Joseph W. Boyd, 33, of Valencia was held for court on charges of unlawfully attempting to buy a firearm and unsworn falsification to authorities, filed Feb. 14.George M. Frye III, 27, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of corruption of a minor, indecent assault and furnishing alcohol to a minor, filed Aug. 28.Colton T. Mawhinney, 20, of Portersville waived to court charges of burglary, trespass, conspiracy and theft, filed June 17. Mawhinney in a separate case waived charges of theft and receiving stolen property, filed March 7.Joseph W. McClung, 22, of Boyers waived to court charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, filed May 25.Nathan T. Moore, 21, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, filed May 25.Richard M. Nolan, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of theft and access device fraud, filed June 14.Kurt W. Speicher, 29, of Portersville waived to court charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and scattering rubbish, filed May 1.
