ADAMS TWP — The Myoma Road bridge will close to traffic between Forsythe Road and Mars Evans City Road at 6 a.m. Sept. 4.

The closure is part of a project that includes the replacement of the bridge carrying Myoma Road over Breakneck Creek and the pipe carrying Mars Evans City Road over a tributary of Breakneck Creek.

A detour will be in place using Myoma Road to Mars Evans City Road to Route 228 to Crider Road to Myoma Road.

The road is expected to reopen on Sept. 8.

This $3.1 million project is being done by the Mekis Construction Corp. and is expected to be completed by the end of October.

MARSHALL TWP, Allegheny County — Interstate 79 will be reduced to a single lane in each direction from 7 p.m. Saturday through 9 a.m. Sunday in these areas:Northbound — Between the Route 910/Wexford interchange and the Route 19 Cranberry off-ramp.Southbound — Between the Butler County line and the Route 19 on-ramp.Crews will do concrete patching.
