Dean and Loretta Schnur

Dean and Loretta Schnur of Butler celebrated 55 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Schnur married the former Loretta Callihan on July 11, 1959, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have six children, Dan Schnur of Butler, Roy Schnur of Camphill, Tim Schnur of Butler, Theresa Tosi of Butler, Mark Schnur of Butler and Maria Shaffer of York.

They also have 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Schnur retired from Armco.

Mrs. Schnur is a homemaker.

The Schnurs are members of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

They also are members of Herman Fire Hall and East Butler Fire Hall.
