Jamison 60th anniversary
Robert and Joanne Jamison of Renfrew celebrated 60 years of marriage with a surprise family picnic at their son and daughter-in-law’s home in Evans City.
Jamison married the former Joanne Walker on June 24, 1954, at White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church in Renfrew.
They have seven children, Linda (Randy) Carpenter of Fairborn, Ohio, Robert (Katie) Jamison of Evans City, Thomas (Maggie) Jamison of Lebanon, Pa., Bryan (Michelle) Jamison of Ross Township, Allegheny County, Carol (Lee) Dreyer of Renfrew, Scott (Carol) Jamison of Evans City and Michael (Amber) Jamison of Muddy Creek Township.
They also have 16 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Jamison retired from the U.S. Air Force and Warehouse Electrical Supply in Butler.
Mrs. Jamison retired from Butler Memorial Hospital as a nurse.
The Jamisons are members of White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church where Jamison served as a trustee and Mrs. Jamison served as a deacon.
