David and Gladys Leech

David and Gladys Leech of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with family and will continue to celebrate with a family summer vacation to the Smoky Mountains.

Leech married the former Gladys Nebel on May 23, 1964, at St. Wendelin Church in Carbon Center.

They have four children, Michele (John) Campbell of West Sunbury, Larry (Sandy) Leech of Ohio, Greg (Jamie) Leech of Virginia and Matthew (Adrienne) Leech of Indiana.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Leech retired from the research and development department of Spang-Magnetics Co. of East Butler.

Mrs. Leech retired from the Butler County Prothonotary office.
