Pete Sychak

Pete Sychak of Lyndora will celebrate his 90th birthday with a family gathering.

Sychak was born June 28, 1924, in Lyndora. He married the former Martha L. Barr on June 16, 1951, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

He has three children, Susie Jarvie of Cape Coral, Fla., Robert Sychak of Butler and Lee Ann Kradel of Butler. He also has four grandchildren, one step-granddaughter and three step-great-granddaughters.

Sychak is a blacksmith and worked at Butler Armco for 43 years.

He is a member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church.

He is a member of Hill Sportsman’s Club in Emporium and American Legion Post 778. He is a U.S. Army veteran.
