Calvin Stevens

Calvin Lee Stevens of Karns City celebrated his 90th birthday with a family lunch in Butler Sunday.

He was born June 17, 1924, in Erico. He married the late Donna Foss Stevens on July 7, 1951, at the United Methodist Church in Karns City.

He has two children, Elizabeth Stevens and Debra Pincek, both of Butler. He also has one grandson.

Stevens retired from Karns City School District after 35 years as a teacher and guidance counselor. He is a member of Karns City United Methodist Church.

He is a past member of St. Jude’s Golf Club. He served in World War II and was a medal honoree of the U.S. Army 63rd Infantry Division’s 263rd Engineer Combat Batallion.
