Dawn M. Byers, 27, of Mercer waived to court a charge of reckless endangerment, filed Feb. 3.
David N. Jones Jr., 43, of Cabot waived to court charges of driving under the influence, a lane violation and careless driving, filed May 19.
Neil R. Kurowski, 35, of Sarver waived to court charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, filed March 4.
Dustin L. Ritchey, 28, of Chicora waived to court a charge of failing to register with state police in accordance with Megan's Law, filed May 24.
Wesley A.D. Smith, 32, of Mercer waived to court a charge of reckless endangerment, filed Feb. 3.
SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Lewis Stoughton, filling in for District Judge Tim Shaffer, recently heard these cases:Nicholas P. Carroll, 31, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of simple assault and reckless endangerment, filed May 6 by Slippery Rock police.Luv A. Desai, 23, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of driving under the influence, careless driving, following too closely to another vehicle, improperly passing another vehicle and a stop sign violation, filed March 28 by Slippery Rock police.Steven P. McGinty, 25, of Slippery Rock pleaded guilty to a charge of theft, filed March 3 by Slippery Rock police. McGinty was ordered to pay $546.50 in restitution, fines and court costs.Keilynn A. Shaffer, 26, of Portersville was held for court on charges of simple assault and harassment, filed March 24 by state police.Christopher S. Walker, 22, of Slippery Rock pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 22 by state police. Walker was ordered to pay $366.50 in fines and court costs.

Evans City police on March 6 charged him with forgery and receiving stolen property.Julie A. Toepfer, 56, of Saxonburg waived her case to court. Adams Township police on April 30 charged her with driving under the influence of a controlled substance.Justin Eric Gates, 25, of Ellwood City had his case held to court. Zelienople police on April 16 charged him with retail theft.Eric S. Stump, 43, of Cranberry Township had his case held to court. Adams Township police on March 3 charged him with fraud, driving without valid inspection, driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance.Stewart Ross Armstrong, 37, of Mars waived his case to court. Adams Township police on April 3 charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance.John Philip Auxier, 27, of Valencia waived his case to court. Adams Township police on April 30 charged him with making terroristic threats, resisting arrest, defiant trespass, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.Michael Lewis Frederick, 48, of Evans City waived his case to court.
