Marra 54th anniversary
Lewis and Edith Marra celebrated 54 years of marriage in May. On their 50th anniversary they renewed their vows at St. Fidelis Church and celebrated with a luncheon at the Butler Country Club with the original wedding party, family and friends. They also participated in the Golden Wedding celebration at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland and the annual 50 plus wedding celebration at St. Fidelis.
Marra married the former Edith Miller on May 21, 1960, at St. Conrad Church in Meridian.
They have two sons, Michael Marra and Lewis “Chip” Marra II.
They also have four grandchildren.
Marra retired as benefits administrator for Armco.
He has been active in many civic organizations and has sung for numerous weddings, community functions and theatrical productions.
Mrs. Marra retired as a teacher from the Butler School District.
She appeared in many Musical Theater Guild productions and performed with her husband and sons as the Marra Family Singers.
The Marras enjoy international travel and travel in the U.S.
They enjoy time with their family.
The Marras are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.
