The 70th anniversary of the D-Day landing in World War II is June 6, and the Butler Eagle is looking for residents who have connections to that epic event.

The newspaper would like to hear from anyone who took part in the invasion, including its planning, any support roles or actual troop landing.

Family members with information of their relative’s D-Day participation also may contact the paper.
