A railroad crossing on Boyers Road in Mercer Township will close between 6 a.m. Monday and 5 p.m. Friday for maintenance.

PennDOT said Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad will be performing maintenance on the crossing. Work is weather dependent, and the crossing will be closed while work is ongoing.

To detour from the west side of the tracks, drivers are advised to travel west on Boyers Road and turn right onto Route 8. Travel north on Route 8 then turn right onto Route 58. Continue east on Route 58 and turn right on to Route 308. Continue on Route 308 and turn right onto Boyers Road.

Those detouring from the east side of the tracks are advised to follow the same detour in reverse — Boyers Road to Route 308 to Route 58 to Route 8 back onto Boyers Road.
