Butler County Controller Ben Holland maintains the county could have refinanced some of a series of 2004 bonds while paying off one in July rather than refinance the entire amount. A story about the refinancing in Thursday’s edition did not fully explain what Holland meant. Jefferson Township and Connoquenessing and Saxonburg are in the 11th State House District in Tuesday’s election. They incorrectly were listed in the wrong district in a story on candidate financing in Thursday’s edition.
