Matthew S. McCabe
Matthew S. McCabe, 78, of Cabot passed away Saturday at his home.
Born Sept. 3, 1935, in Morningside, Pa., he was the son of the late Matthew S. McCabe Sr. and Lillian Denny McCabe.
Matt was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He retired after 40 years of service as a branch manager for Bearings Inc.
He was a member of the Butler Athletic Club. He enjoyed western movies, his cats, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his loving children, Kelly McCabe of Saxonburg, John McCabe of Cabot, and Marcy McCabe of Karns City, and his grandchildren, Robert Spreng, Garret McCabe, Emily McCabe and Sarah McCabe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara S. McCabe; a son, Matthew S. McCabe Jr., and a sister, Jacqueline McCabe Styles.
McCabe — At his request, there will be no visitation or services for Matthew S. McCabe, who died Saturday, April 12, 2014.
