NATRONA HEIGHTS — Five Saint Joseph High School students, including three from Butler, recently won a $1,000 prize for the school, thanks to their Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) national video competition.
The students compiled a three-minute documentary video about the steel industry as a potential career choice. Seniors Tyler Protivnak, Katelynn Kletzli and Vince Tosto, all of Butler, participated.
“In a contest where the majority of the entries were from college programs, our students did an outstanding job putting together an entry that made it into the semifinal round,” teacher Jonathan Woytek said in a statement. “Making it through to the end with some really well-made videos is an accomplishment they should be proud to have made.”
