Lewis 50th anniversary
Charles and Donna Lewis of Zelienople will celebrate their 50th anniversary this spring with their immediate family in Richmond, Va.
Lewis married the former Donna Ziegler on April 4, 1964, at Grace Reformed Church in Harmony.
They have a daughter, Deborah A. Lewis Blizman who is married to Joseph A. Blizman. The couple lives in Mechanicsville, Va.
They also have two grandchildren and are expecting their first great-grandchild in August.
After 34 years of military service, Lewis retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2002. He retired from civilian work with the 911th Airlift Wing in 2006.
He is a member and past captain of the Syria Shriners Patrol, a member of the Syria Shrine Legion of Honor, vice commander of American Legion Post 474, a member of VFW Post 879, a life member of the Zelienople Fire Department and a charter member of Zelienople Fire Police.
Mrs. Lewis retired from Seneca Valley School District in 2001. She takes care of others including her great-nieces, friends and neighbors.
She is a member of the Diva Lunch Club and Eastern Star.
The Lewises are members of St. Peter’s Reformed Church in Zelienople.
