Firefighter Lizz Kruger of the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company on Saturday afternoon rolls up a hose after a grass fire behind 164 Hepler Road was doused. Both the Sarver Volunteer Fire Company and Buffalo responded to the 2 p.m. 911 call. Crews cleared the scene at 3:46 p.m. Both departments also responded to a grass fire Sunday evening at 545 Parker Road. There were at least six grass or brush fires across Butler County on Saturday and Sunday.
