Miller 95th birthday
F. Clair Miller of Portersville and Mt. Dora, Fla., will celebrate his 95th birthday with an open house at his winter home in Mt. Dora.
He was born March 22, 1919, in Adrian, Pa. He was married to the late Jean Moore for 62 years. He married the former Marjorie McElwain on Nov. 17, 2001, at Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church.
He has a daughter, Glee (Richard) Miller of Cookeville, Tenn., and a stepdaughter, Julie (Mark) Maurer of Monroeville. He also has three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Miller served in the U.S. Navy Seabees and was stationed in Okinawa during World War II.
He had several jobs and retired from Sharon Steel after 27 years.
Miller has traveled to all 50 states and helped organize the Portersville Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoys woodworking and has been a Mason for 50 years.
Miller attends Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Church.
