The Butler County DUI Task Force will conduct roving patrols during this weekend and through St. Patrick’s Day on Monday.

Police will be on patrol between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. each day throughout the county.

The DUI Task Force, in a news release, encouraged St. Patrick’s Day revelers to designate a driver if they plan to be out drinking.

Additionally, authorities noted that there are “significant fines and penalties” for adults providing alcohol to minors.
