YARDLEY, Bucks County — Mars High School’s veteran football coach and athletic director Scott Heinauer has been named the 2014 Pennsylvania State Athletic Director of the Year.

Heinauer has served as the Planets’ varsity football coach for the last 22 seasons and as the school district’s athletic director for 26 years. He has earned the Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) designation from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administration and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Director Association.
