Rodney and Helen Spencer

Rodney R. and Helen Spencer of West Sunbury celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at 2 Tomato in New Castle.

Spencer married the former Helen E. Redmond on Dec. 14, 1963, at Harrisville Methodist Church in Harrisville.

They have one daughter, Belinda S. Ralston of Butler.

They also have four grandsons.

Spencer retired from ARMCO in 2002.

He has been a square dance caller for 23 years. He is a member of Bantam Marine Corps League and is an avid hunter with his beagles.

Mrs. Spencer is a homemaker.

She dances to Spencer’s square dance and is a member of Bantam Marine Corps League.

The Spencers are members of Forestville Methodist Church in Forestville.
