Sell 60th anniversary

Howard and Janet Sell

Howard and Janet Sell of Cabot recently celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at home.

Sell married the former Janet Cornman on Nov. 20, 1953, at Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver.

They have four children, Cindy Griffith of Coventry, R.I., Howard Sell III of Natrona Heights, Mark Sell of Butler and Brian Sell of Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren.

Sell retired in 1985 after 34 years at the former Butler County Mushroom Farm where he worked as a mechanic in the shop.

He is a member of a Masonic lodge in New Jersey and the Scottish Rite in New Castle. He enjoys maintaining his collection of antique garden tractors.

Mrs. Sell worked at St. Barnabas nursing home for several years before retiring to be a full-time homemaker. She enjoys tending to her many flower and ornamental gardens.
