Wendell and Mary Watson

Wendell and Mary Watson of Slippery Rock celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family fall foliage dinner cruise on the Gateway Clipper in Pittsburgh.

Watson married the former Mary Grossman on Oct. 17, 1953, in Plain Grove, Pa.

They have two children, Deborah (James) Neyman of Volant and Patricia (Daniel) Pink of Slippery Rock.

They also have two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Watson retired from Armco Steel in Butler.

Mrs. Watson was a food services manager for Slippery Rock Area High and Middle Schools. She also is retired.

The Watsons are members of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church.
