June and Lawrence Herold

Lawrence and June Herold of Butler celebrated 70 years of marriage. No gathering is planned due to ill health.

Herold married the former June Fleeger on Oct. 16, 1943, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Butler.

They are the parents of three children, Vicky Link of Canton, Ohio, the late Ruth Armstrong who lived in Slippery Rock and Trudy Snodgrass of West Sunbury.

They also have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Herold was employed by Armco for 39 years.

Mrs. Herold is a homemaker.

The Herolds are members of Ridgeville Methodist Church.
