Natalie Hritz of Seven Fields was inducted into the national honorary band fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi, at Ashland University. Hritz is a dietetics major and serves as recording secretary for Kappa Kappa Psi.

She is a 2010 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and the daughter of Paul and Susan Hritz of Seven Fields.

Michelle Franks of Harmony was the 2013 recipient of the Jacqueline Watson Memorial Scholarship for criminology at Indiana (Pa.) University.

The 2013 graduate of Seneca Valley Senior High School was a high honor roll student, a student leader and a track and field athlete.

She also volunteered at Passavant Retirement Community and Portersville Food Pantry.

Franks is the daughter of Elizabeth and Joe Franks.

The scholarship assists incoming female criminology majors at IUP.
