Harmony Line Chorus of the Barbershop Harmony Society, and the Greater Harmony Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, will sponsor a free a cappella singing festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Glade Run Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road (Route 8). This singing workshop is for young men and women at least age 13 and all music educators. Provided will be vocal instruction from professional, certified barbershop singers, along with music, learning tracks, lunch and a festival T-shirt. Akron, Ohio, rock musician Brian Lisik will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Harmony Opera Hall, 253 Mercer St., Harmony. Tickets are $15 in advance; children age 16 and younger are admitted free.

Clarion County Marching Band Festival will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School. Bands from A-C Valley and Union will be among the six bands scheduled to play, in addition to the Clarion University Golden Eagle Marching Band and the Grove City College Wolverine Marching Band. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students.
