Robert 'Bob' Gallagher

Robert “Bob” Gallagher of Prospect will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Prospect Fire Hall, 373 Main St., Prospect.

He was born Oct. 2, 1923, in Prospect. He married the late Eva Mae Fitzgerald on Aug. 19, 1949, at United Presbyterian Church in Prospect. She died on Jan. 30, 2009.

He has six children, Patti Jordan of Fort Worth, Texas, Bill Gallagher of New Castle, Bruce Gallagher of Portersville, Amy Gallagher of Butler, David Gallagher of Prospect and Joyce Ballew of Prospect. He also has two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Gallagher is retired from road construction and school bus driving.

He attends the North Main Street Church of God in Butler.
