Peter and Doris Hrip

Peter and Doris Hrip of Lyndora celebrated 70 years of marriage with a family dinner at the home of their grandchild, Tracy Lachendro, in Butler.

Hrip married the former Doris Kirk on Sept 18, 1943, in Follansbee, W.Va.

They have one daughter, Sharon Allen of Prospect. They also have seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He retired from ARMCO.

Mrs. Hrip is a housewife.

The Hrips are members of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.
