DeWitt and Annabel Cress

DeWitt and Annabel Cress of Butler celebrated 66 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Cress married the former Annabel Meyers on Sept. 12, 1947, at St. John’s Reformed Church in Butler.

They have four children, Diane Riley, Russell Cress and Dawna Cress, all of Butler, and Ronald Cress of Darlington, S.C.

They also have nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Cress worked at Armco for 37 years. He is a lifetime member of VFW 249.

Mrs. Cress worked at Troutman’s and is a housewife.

The Cresses are members of St. John’s Reformed Church.
