Big finish
FRANKLIN TWP, Beaver County — The Red Barn Players will close the troupe’s 59th season with the premier of “The Entrepreneurs,” a comedy written by Mary Jane Tillia, a longtime actor and director at the Red Barn.
Her husband, Tom Tillia, is directing.
Shows will start at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Sept. 19 to 21 and 26 to 28.
The play deals with the question, “What would you do for a million dollars?”
Would you wash a Rottweiler in your bathtub? Turn your living room into a casino? Could you make a tourniquet out of your bra? Or use a glue gun to make a wedding gown?
A kindergarten teacher, a beautician, a waitress and a housewife are willing to do whatever it takes in “The Entrepreneurs.” Ruth, Helen, Jo and Penny are just four best friends who are chasing the American dream.
The cast includes Amanda Martin of Cranberry Township; Mary Jane Tillia and Tammy Erkman, both of Ellwood City; and Lauranne Ferrara of Neshannock Township.
Tickets are $12. Reservations can be made by calling 724-773-7150.
The Red Barn Theatre is on Route 228, the Ellwood-Zelienople Road.
