Fred and Esther Rea

Fred and Esther Rea of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Rachel’s Roadhouse in Butler.

Rea married the former Esther Beebe on July 27, 1963, at the United Methodist Church in Van, Pa.

They have two children, Kevin of Westmont, Pa., and Daniel of Cranberry Township.

They also have five grandchildren.

Rea retired from the Pennsylvania State Police.

Mrs. Rea is a housekeeper. She is a member of Nixon United Methodist Church and enjoys gardening and reading.
