Matilda 'Tillie' Milich

Matilda “Tillie” Milich of Butler, celebrated her 95th birthday with a family surprise party at Rachel’s Roadhouse in Butler.

The former Matilda Heinz was born July 24, 1918, in McKees Rocks, Pa. She married the late Michael Milich on Feb. 1, 1936, in Butler.

She has three children, Preston Milich and Marsha Milich, both of Butler and Emily Milich-Franusich of Upper St. Clair. She also has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Milich worked at Armco during World War II. She is a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian, the St. Fidelis Women’s Guild, the American Legion Post 778 Auxiliary and MARC.
