Your body was too tired for the task.

Our Savior called you to heaven,

In his presence to bask.

Your mom and I will join you,

When our journey here is done.

There will be much joy in our hearts when we can hug you and meet the ‘Son’!

Your family is grateful for the 40 years you dwelt with us.

You taught us much patience and love.

During trials that most of us couldn’t bear,

Christ promised us a reunion above!
