Dorothy Mitchell

Dorothy Mitchell of Cabot, formerly of North Apollo, celebrated her 100th birthday with a party at Concordia and a family dinner.

The former Dorothy Bradley, she was born on June 3, 1913, in Pittsburgh. She married the late John Mitchell on March 4, 1935.

She has two children, James and Marilyn.

Mrs. Mitchell was a dance teacher, danced with Gene Kelly and taught line dancing until 2011. She enjoys sewing, cards, playing the piano and having lunch with friends.

She is a member of St. James Catholic Church in Apollo, the Catholic Daughters of America and the St. James Confraternity.
