Levi Shearer had three hits and a pair of RBI and Taylor Sharer pitched seven strong innings as Saxonburg downed West Sunbury 8-2 in legion baseball action Tuesday.

Sharer struck out seven and walked just one in the victory. Chase Voltz added three hits and a RBI for Saxonburg (2-2).

Tyler Dimaria doubled and singled for West Sunbury (1-5).

Butler City 8, Freeport 3 — Shea Stobert singled, doubled, drove in four runs and was the winning pitcher.

Alex Ziegler added a double and a single for Butler City (5-3).

R.J. Rich paced Freeport at the plate with a double.

East Butler 11, Cranberry 2 — Tyler Crawford had two triples and a double for East Butler while Tanner Gilliland added two doubles, Dustin Kepple a double and single.

Damon Ingles and Travis Moniot had doubles for Cranberry.

Valley 9, Meridian 4 — Ian Kelly was the winning pitcher for Valley. Jordan Frame doubled for the winners while Robert Stamm had a double and two singles for Meridian.
