Center Township defeated Saxonburg 11-2 in Butler County Legion baseball action Thursday.

Boo Lokhaiser totaled five RBI, including a three-run home run, while also picking up the win after pitching four innings.

Kyle Campbell hit a solo home run in the victory while Kolby Kriess singled and doubled and Adam Voelker singled twice.

Taylor Sharer and Tyler Smith both hit a double for Saxonburg.

• Drew Spangler allowed just two hits and struck out eight to help lift Meridian to an 11-1, five-inning thumping of Cranberry Township.

Tucker Van Dyke paced Meridian’s offense with a single, double and two runs batted in. Matt Dowdy added a single, triple and RBI, Travis Edinger two singles and RBI and Jake McCandless an RBI-double.
