Chester and Barbara Bowser

Chester and Barbara Bowser of Hilliards will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house from 6 to 9 p.m. June 15 at the North Washington Social Hall, North Washington. Friends and family are invited.

Bowser married the former Barbara Skelton on July 2, 1963, at the Methodist Church in Winchester, Va.

They have three children, Chester “Chad” Bowser of Bruin, Carl Bowser of Hilliards and Christopher Bowser of Hilliards. They also have eight grandchildren.

Bowser is retired from INDSPEC Chemical in Petrolia.

Mrs. Bowser is a homemaker.

The Bowsers are members of the Chicora Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
