Betty and Kirby Osborne

Betty and Kirby Osborne of Slippery Rock will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner and an open house for friends and family. The open house will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at their home, 147 Wick Road, Slippery Rock.

Osborne married the former Betty Mackey on May 11, 1953.

The have four children, Vickie Osborne of Stoneboro, Pa., Vonnie Hogg of Slippery Rock, Valerie Osborne of Butler and Vanette Osborne of Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Osborne retired from trucking as an owner/operator and now drives part-time for MTI.

Mrs. Osborne retired from the Slippery Rock High School cafeteria.

The Osbornes are members of the Slippery Rock United Methodist Church.
