Matz no-hitter keys SV victory

Nikki Matz struck out nine and tossed a six-inning no-hitter as the Seneca Valley softball team routed visiting Oakland Catholic 10-0 Wednesday afternoon.

A lone error prevented Matz from tossing a perfect game.

Jess Neill was the star at the plate for the Raiders (10-7) with a 4-for-4 day, including a double, four runs scored and three RBIs.

Neill has eight hits in her last nine at-bats.
