Michael and Diana Waldron

Diana and Michael Waldron of Kingsland, Ga., will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Oakview Golf Club in Slippery Rock.

Waldron married the former Diana Simmer on May 4, 1963.

They have three children, Michael Waldron Jr. of Richmond, Va., Mark Waldron of Butler and Matthew Waldron of Kittaning.

They also have seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Waldron is retired from Pullman, as well as the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.

He is a member of American Legion Post 0170, the Marine Corps League in Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Laurel Island Homeowners Board.

Mrs. Waldron retired after 43 years as a nurse.

She is a member of St. Mary’s Garden Club and the Coastal Art League.

The Waldrons are members of the King of Peace Episcopal Church.
